We needed a little snack before dinner, so Kyla finally got her hot dog from the cart on the street, this one was in front of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where we were meeting everyone.
She was super excited, & said it was good :)
Those glass wall panel things behind her are where the big Egyptian temple is inside the museum that has the moat thing around it and all.
Another one in front of the museum...
We made a quick stop by part of Central Park that was just around the corner to get some energy out!
I love the curved glass! This was right across the street from the Met.
We met the nicest man here, he worked there, and was on a golf cart, I asked where there was some grass she could run on, ha! He said that all of the grass is shut down/closed off for the season to re-coop so they can treat it and get it strong again for the Spring so it can handle all the traffic. He had a definite New York accent, heavy, but said he'd grown up in Texas, and also talked to us for a good 5-10 minutes about life, and was really jolly & friendly and kept saying how cute Kyla was, etc. Like I keep saying, people really were just beyond nice.
cute, cute.
She just ran and ran......
and ran!
We got to see the Alice in Wonderland statue, Kyla was super excited, since she has read the book. She love the little mouse, and didn't want to leave the statue.
So cute, you'd never know we'd spent all morning with them the way they ran to each other & hugged forever, ha!
Sweet girls!
