Day 4, Post 4 - Out & About

The famous bull.  There was a decently long line of people waiting to have their picture taken in front of it, and it was literally on an island in the middle of the road (random trivia, the creator of it just randomly dropped it off one day in front of the building, it wasn't ever commissioned or whatever from the city, so it's not an official landmark/property of the city) so we didn't go join the line, but snapped pictures from the sidewalk :)  They did have police standing with the people in the middle of the road trying to keep them safe I guess....kind of crazy.  Wall Street again, a different angle.

Liberty Plaza again.

Trinity Church again.

The girls were going crazy over the pigeons.

They looked like the bird lady in Mary Poppins or something, ha!

 LOVE this one....

We stopped by Saint Paul's again, since Kyla & I had gone before we met Bob & Sue that morning, and it was right by the subway station, not even a block away, I hated for them to miss it, and we didn't mind to stop again.

A photo of some of the things people left as an impromptu memorial.

More of the amazing subway tile mosaics.  I love the shades of blue here, all of my favorites...cobalts, turquoises, etc.

We were headed to FAO Schwarz when I looked at the map & realize we were close to something else that Jamie had told me about the night before was neat, so again, either they're trusting or I'm convincing, and off we all set.  On the way we passed Serendipity, the place famous for the Frozen Hot Chocolate (it was a teeny tiny place that was packed, and we were pretty frozen ourselves already, we didn't stop), someone's bumper on the sidewalk, ha!  And Dylan's Candy Bar that I had just read all about in a magazine.  It's Ralph Lauren's daugher's place...see the giant chocolate bunny in the corner?
